Re: June 30th, Jimmy Kimmel

Sounded great, especially Santa Monica. Would love to see some more 'BITNB' material live.

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

...did any of you Pledgers download the acoustic version of 'The Man Who Broke His Own Heart' that they recently offered? It's pretty good, and I think it's more powerful lyrically this way. Wish there was more additional recordings...the whole album acoustic like this would be an amazing extra for...

Re: Lyrics to Complacent

I hear it as:

"I won't beat up your brother, I will be fake and smile"

HAs anyone got their CD yet? Maybe the actual lyrics will be included.

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

Still loving this album. Invisible Stars grew on me but this has taken hold straight away. Here's how I'd rate the albums: Sparkle & Fade (this was the first EC album I bought, still love playing along to it on guitar) So Much For The Afterglow (Very close to first place, love the lyrics on this one...

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

Yeah I hear the 'Beautiful Life' callback, and I think Pretty Bomb shares some DNA with 'White Noise' too. That aside I really like the album. Actually blown away by 'You' - Powerful stuff that one. Oh and 'Safe' too. Didn't like the riff to 'Sugar Noise' at first but it's definitely grown on me.

Re: London gigs

Listening now, thanks again. Great setlist and brings back some great memories. I remember them playing 'Sin City' at the garage but totally forget it was played her too.

The "Monty Python or Benny Hill" bit from 'AM Radio' I remember like it was yesterday. Damn I miss the Astoria!
