Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK
'Complacent', 'Simple and Plain', and the remake of 'Death Song' are my favorites so far. Really impressed with how Art redid 'Death Song', somehow he made it better!

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK
They posted snippets of 'Simple and Plain' and 'Complacent' on their facebook page, and so far from what I've heard I think those are the two songs I will like the most of the four (five if you count 'Death Song') that we've heard. 'Sugar Noise' is a good opener but I feel it's 30-45 seconds too lon...

Re: Everclear on YouTube
Some awesome person uploaded the entire 4/20/1996 show at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Watched the entire show and another gem. Higher quality than the La Luna show Greg posted a while ago so you get a better idea of how tight the band was during this period. Includes performances of 'Everg...

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK
I guess that group shot is the album cover. Either way it's all about the music not the album cover. Still, I would've liked something cool and creative like the cover to 'Invisible Stars'.

Re: BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK
Art said in the new update on Pledge (from the Great Wall in China mind you) that he was still working on the album cover. I honestly would prefer something more artistic than just a photo of the band as the cover.

Re: The Man Who Broke His Own Heart lyric video
When I talked to Art during his solo tour, I mentioned I loved the Be Careful What You Ask For music video, while we talked about it he said he planned on using the same director to do a music video for the new single, in addition to the lyric video. That's good news, the director did a great job w...

Re: The Man Who Broke His Own Heart lyric video
Good quality video, not really into lyric videos but w/e. Not sure of its value as far as promoting the new single/album, I'd rather have a cheaply done music video that puts a face to the band for casual fans to see. At least it's something!
Re: HBO 1998
Oh that was the FANatic show? That's right, it's coming back to me now.... 'Local God' as the closer and what not... cool!
HBO 1998
Anyone have video of their HBO concert from 1998? I remember it being posted on YouTube a couple years ago, but of course was taken down after some time. Probably the best EC concert I've had the pleasure of viewing.

Re: Impure White Evil
Thanks again for what you do Eric, you rock! Now I don't have to sing 'Amphetamine' by myself when I play PWE in my car lol! When the PWE recordings first leaked I had thought it was the best "album" I had heard from EC, but in retrospect I'm glad Art reworked it into SMFTA.... it's just a lot more ...

Re: Woodstock 1999 - Full Concert Video!
I'm not a huge fan of the Woodstock performance. Still good and entertaining, but just missing something. I really wish someone would post the HBO show again but friggin youtube takes it down every time. That concert is the shit.

Re: New Record Fall 2014
JWAD is about the worst thing Art has ever done. "Hater" is superior lyrically and in maturity, and that's really saying something. If JWAD was a more popular song I would be embarrassed to say I'm and Everclear fan, and Art's had some really bad flubs the last decade. Besides it being a terrible so...
