I was thinking the same thing... to be honest it didn't even occur to me to throw the ball horizontally. I thought "Well, no shit, when you throw a ball in the air, it always stops and comes back - where's the joke?"

Try this one:

Imagine you are inside a room, and there are two identical exits. One leads to certain death, the other, freedom. Inside the room there are also two men. One of them will always lie and one of them will always tell the truth, but you have no idea which one is which.

If you can ask only one man one question (not one question to each man, but one question total which only one of the men will answer) how do you guaruntee choosing the right door?

isn't it like... you ask one man if the other man will tell him that the door on the right is the correct door?

(will give answer soon)

After a local art theft, six suspects were being interviewed. Below is a summary of their statements. Police know that exactly four of them told one lie each and all of the other statements are true. From this information can you tell who committed the crime?

It wasn't Brian
It wasn't Dave
It wasn't Eddie

Brian said:
It wasn't Alan
It wasn't Charlie
It wasn't Eddie

Charlie said:
It wasn't Brian
It wasn't Freddie
It wasn't Eddie

Dave said:
It wasn't Alan
It wasn't Freddie
It wasn't Charlie

Eddie said:
It wasn't Charlie
It wasn't Dave
It wasn't Freddie

Freddie said:
It wasn't Charlie
It wasn't Dave
It wasn't Alan

I'm guessing the liars are Brian, Dave, Eddie, and Freddie. The lie is " It wasn't Charlie", which means Charlie is the thief.

yup

new one

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.
