The Oohlas

Post by bob4775 » Sat Jul 01, 2006 11:21 pm

I already have a couple of Tri-Polar songs so I decided to do a websearch on The Oohlas (I have always liked Greg better than Craig) And I looked on The Oohlas myspace and listened to some of their music.......I like Tri-Polar better. Sorry. Is it true that Greg plays guitar for The Oohlas and not the drums? Thats weird and cool at the same time. I guess he wanted to try something new. Anyway, if you want comment cuz I need some opinions about it.

The Oohlas... their music and lyrics seem to reach a little further than Tri-polar's.

I vote the Oolahs. One because their music is more interesting to listen to. Two cuz the chick is pretty awesome and three because I like the fact that Greg is in a band with his brother.

You know, actually I didn't really like The Oohlas at first, but now that I am for some reason going onto their site and listening alot of the time, they are really beggining to grow on me. Very catchy, dont get me wrong, I still like Tri-Polar better but The Oohlas are much better than i percieved them to be

well lets get this out of the way first of all:

if craig or greg were not in either of these bands no one here would have either heard of them or like them. thats the truth you can say "oh i liek teh music!!11!!" but no.

the oohlas are such a shitty indie-like band, i dont know why everclear fans would like their music. i mean come on, listen to the ballerina blues or whatever its called. :!: worst :!: song :!: ever :!:

tripolar - an actually good band but then again i wouldnt even pay them a little attention if craig wasnt singing in them.

Yeah, indie bands suck. Those ones like Everclear, Tri-Polar.

I like Tri-Polar and all, but this is where I wish we had Plight or Ashton. The Oohlas are good. It can't be argued; it's just a fact. Like pizza is good.

Indie rock is the only thing that is worth listening to anymore for the most part, imo. I think the Oohlas are pretty damn good.

The Oohlas posted the album version of "Gone." It's a bit heavier than the original version.
