Anyone watch this show? I LOVE it. So much. Thursday nights, 9:30, channel 4. I highly recommend checking it out.

steve carrell is amazingly funny. I haven't seen the original series (british) yet.
Breathin' fire doesn't look good on a resume.

Yeah, he definatly is a comical genious. And I actually like the American version a lotttt better than the British one.

I've heard that they're quite different takes on the premise. I haven't seen the American version, is that more sitcom than the documentary spoof of the original?

I was lukewarm about Ricky Gervais's Office. There were laugh-out-loud moments, but I found the whole process a little cringeworthy. I think the fact that several of the characters were so easy to despise (including Brent), that I had no wanton desire to connect to any of them.

The loveable goof is a far less challenging and enjoyable character to like, which is why Red Dwarf is possibly my favourite comedy.

i love the office, i think it's hilarious and it's so much better than all the other mindless sitcoms on american tv, it's refreshing

I did just watch last week's episode, I thought it was pretty funny. Probably funnier if I were older and had worked in an office.
