New movies...

Post by Jimmybinder » Sat Feb 02, 2008 5:49 pm

Anyone seen anything decent lately?

I just saw In Bruges with Colin Ferrell...very good flick. I definitely felt the advertising angle to push trips to Belgium, but it looks beautiful. Lot's of parallelism in the plot and sub plots. here's the trailer: http://www.alliancefilms.com/inbruges/

No Country For Old Men is also awesome. Can't belive it's got the actor from the Goonies. Now that's a blast from the past, haha.

The new Jack Black and Vince Vaughn ones look good too...

I want to see "No Country" and "There Will Be Blood" before Oscar night. Anybody see "Juno?" It looks a little too precious for my tastes, but what the heck...not a lot of thigh-slapping comedies out there these days.

Juno was actually pretty good. I reccommend it.
