Rock Band

Post by heartspark4ec » Thu Apr 10, 2008 2:13 pm

How many of you have played or own the game rock band?

The Wii edition of rock band is coming out June 22nd, and I am definitely buying it! My hopes are that with the constant ability to download songs, that some day we might see everclear songs on there (not likely, but hey! a girl can wish!!!)

my anime club owns rock band and we play it every weekend (well... we did until SSBB came out) and it is such a total blast. i cant wait!

I thought Harmonix wasn't doing downloadable songs for the Wii...

I love playing Rock Band...but I haven't played in a few weeks.

I dunno... they may not.

Last I heard part of the reason it was delayed was because they were trying to figure out how to use web resources.

Either way... if they cant download, i bet they would come out with a second edition of the game disc with more songs... a lot like guitar hero does.

I tried to find were I saw that there would be no downloadable content, and found there would be no downloadable content (though they may try to add it later via an update, but it's not 100%), no character creation, no world tour feature, and no online play. It's definitely a watered down version, identical to the Playstation 2 version of the game.

It's a shame because the some of the downloadable stuff are my favorite songs to play

rock band is more fun than a barrel of monkeys with sparklers. the bf and i will occasionally invite a bunch of friends over and throw a 'rock band party' :)

The PS3 and Xbox 360 have all of these songs available for individual download already, the PS2 and Wii don't support downloadable songs, so they are putting out these songs on a disc for them.

I'm not a fan of video games in general, but that list of songs is pretty good.

Maybe I'll have to check out this one.
