SO, have we thought of a name for this precious little bundle yet?

Let's have some suggestions, won't us. ;)

Although I'm not a big fan of "trendy" type names and am more into traditional ones, my most recent favorite I've heard for a girl is Addison Jane...just love it! :)

We actually started a list the other day. We've got 2 sections to the list, names we both like, names only one of us like. She's even gone so far as to make a list for middle names only, but I'd rather decide on a first name before even thinking about a middle name.

Names we both like
Abigail (Abby)
Avery
Bree
Brynn
Jocelyn
Layla
Madelaine

Names only one of us like
Elsa
Harper
Riley

Middle name only
Janice (supposedly a family tradition on her side)
Grace

That's all I can remember, I'll update the list once I get home.

When we first found out she was pregnant with Nate, before we knew the sex we instantly agreed on Riley if we had a girl, but we never could come up with a name for a boy; Nate didn't have a name until hours after he was born. 4 years later, now that we are having a girl my wife doesn't like Riley.

How about Riley and Janice as middle names, then you are both happy.

unless you can't decide which one goes before which!!!

I quite like Abby Janice Riley Keown. Sounds classy.
I f**king love this band.

K, here's my take:

~Abigail (Abby) - good old fashioned name....I like.
~Avery - not so much.
~Bree - Hate it. Might as well just call her "cheese" and get it over with...remember how mean other kids can be.
~Brynn - too many of them now.
~Jocelyn - I like it, but people might call her Jo.
~Layla - too Clapton.
~Madelaine - good name, but again, very popular and she will have a million in her class.
~Elsa - German woman wrestler and a popular dogs name (seriously)
~Harper - I LOVE THIS....if you guys are into writers, you can name her Harper Lee (To Kill a Mockingbird)
~Riley - only ever heard as a boys name, also a popular dogs name...really it is!

I really like Grace as a middle. Abigail Grace flows well. But then her initials would be AGK....mean kids could work with that, ya know? I know, I am thinking way too much...but seriously, we thought about Jack's forever just to make sure it would all be cool. Of course there is the "Jack-off" factor, but his initials are JAC...so that was kinda cool. :)

i personally like abigail and layla (this was one of the names that shawn and i thought about if our kiddo was a girl) as for middle names, grace is an adorable name that flows great with just about any first name.

I LOVE Jane! It's my new fave since I've seen it's made a come back. A little girl named Jane is adorable.

On a side note, Jack was going to be Isabella Rae (both family names) if he was a girl. We were gonna call her Bella. :)

Working with kids, I get to hear quite a lot of different names.
Names like Lily, Megan, Jade, Darcy, Phoebe and Molly are quite popular lately.
We have a kid in my group called Amelia, at the moment, which is a pretty name. I also like Millie and Scarlett.
I f**king love this band.

Phoebe is my nieces' name. She's a year old.

Riley was a great uncles name and my cousin named her 1st born
after him. I also met a lil girl last week with Riley as her name.
It's really making a comeback.

Our daughter is Erin Kathleen though...
cant get much more Irish than that, haha
