Kill Bill, volume one

Post by Matty » Sun Oct 12, 2003 10:18 pm

Holy.
Freakin'.
Crap.

This movie blew me away. Seriously. I can't even describe it. It's...an experience.

The group of people I went with, half of us loved it, the other half hated it. I can totally understand both points of view. I loved it, personally.

Anyone else seen it? Plan on seeing it? Don't give a damn?

My roommate saw it and it sounds awesome....Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see it this weekend but I will for sure next weekend. From what my roommate said, it sounds VERY different, but what do you expect from Quinton Tarrentino (sp?)? Anyone else have any input?
I'll kick your ass if you pity me

I can't decide if I really want to see this yet. I'm a fan of all Tarantinos other films, but I've heard this is considered more of an action film, and has less dialogue than his other films.

Yeah, the dialogue was sadly lacking from what I had expected. Rumor has it that it's far better in Volume Two.

While the dialog may not have been his very best, I'll have to admit I was completely amazed by this movie. It was fun and enjoyable, while at the same time being stylisticly amazing.
