Toadies - No Deliverance

Post by ekeown » Tue May 13, 2008 3:06 pm

The Toadies who broke up in 2001, have had a few reunion shows over the years (mostly in Texas) got back together last year. They recently announced a new album, titled No Deliverance scheduled to be released August 19, 2008. Right now, there is a teaser site for the new album, nodeliverance.com.

Anyone else excited about this news?

Cheers Eric, I'll have to pass the info onto my other half. He really likes them.
I f**king love this band.

Cool. The teaser sounds like classic Toadies, which could be a good or bad thing.

I wonder if Todd Lewis is done with the Burden Bros.

You can hear the whole song here:

I liked the song, especially the blues inspired guitar, and the jam/groove bass line, but the lyrics are pretty weak. It's a good start though.
