No comments in here for two months? Cmon. Anyone know of any new stuff out there that's worth checking out?

Well, my son has got me into a band called Mindless Self Indulgence lately. They've been around for ages, and aren't normally the sort of thing I'd like, but they're weird and different (in a good way)
Kinda remind me of a mix of Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Sparks (anyone else old enought to remember them?), and Devo.
These are my faves

I f**king love this band.
And anyone that doesn't is, quite frankly, a c*nt. - Ginger / The Wildhearts

For a while MSI outranked everclear in what I listened to. Sadly though, their music's going down in quality.
Check out the Frankenstein Girls album; it's probably their best. You'll Rebel To Anything comes in 2nd. Their older stuff off of Alienating our Audience is pretty good too. (Avoid their latest cd IF. It's not atrocious, it's just not up to par)
Oh, and 10 points to anyone who can identify and enjoy Jimmy Urine's side project, the Left/Rights.

For the Indie-r people, I've been enjoying Vampire Weekend, Noah and the Whale, Kings of Leon, Jupiter One, and Ra Ra Riot.
