OOoh I'm gonna bootleg the shit out of it again this year, I have a gig that night, but when I get home it's on! I'll have it posted here that night as well (just like last year)

You just need a video capture program if your computer can handle it. I found out last year my laptop is too slow

I'll be at the show! If anyone can capture it (video or audio) and wouldn't mind sharing, that would be awesome!

The way I feel when I am blue?
Do you feel it? 'Cause I can feel it still
You cut me into pieces
Said, you cut me into pieces
And now I wished I'd never let you in!"

Everclear
Summerland 2015
Tuesday, June 23, 2015
Irving Plaza, New York, NY
Heroin Girl
Everything To Everyone
You Make Me Feel Like A Whore
Wonderful
American Monster
The Man Who Broke His Own Heart
So Much For The Afterglow
Father Of Mine
Guitar Solo (Art kept trying to get Davey to play Van Halen's "Eruption", which he did partially)
I Will Buy You A New Life
Santa Monica (feat. Brett from Fuel and Jamie Arentzen from American Hi-Fi)
I bought the VIP ticket. We were brought inside early and hung out in the lounge until Art, Freddy, Davey, and Josh got there. Art had an acoustic guitar with him. They just talked a bit, shook everybody's hands, took pictures, etc. It was really laid back and cool. Then, Art said they'd like to do a song (hence, the guitar), so they did an acoustic version of Wonderful, which sounded pretty good. I was hoping that meant Wonderful wouldn't be in the setlist, but it was. They all signed the poster that came with the VIP tickets and then we went to another room they took pictures of each person with the full band and we headed in to the space. Art had broken his foot a few days ago and had the boot on, so he was walking around tentatively, but seemed to be doing fine nonetheless.
It was cool to hear American Monster and YMMFLAW. The rest was your standard setlist, I feel. As usual, the band sounded good. Freddy was the most active out of everyone, even climbing on top of a balcony to the stage right side and playing from up there.
I was impressed by the other bands - American Hi-Fi, Fuel, and Toadies. I saw AHF back on the 2001 Tour with Everclear, but I wasn't impressed with them back then. I'll be getting their albums now. Fuel, I was familiar with and liked. Toadies were fun, but don't really sound like music I dig. Definitely a fun live show, though, and their fans are nuts (in a good way). Art came out between each band and introduced them. He also played the opening song with AHF (I forget what it was, but I think I cover).
If anyone captured the video, post it, please! I was right up front of stage right (where Freddy was standing). Overall, it was a good show, just wish the set was longer. But, there were 4 bands, so what can you do?

Re: Summerland 2015 live
I ripped the audio, I'll post it tonight after work 48 minutes 320 kbps
Like the previous years webcast the audio had it's issues, backing vocals too loud, Art's guitar buried, audible carnival keyboard sounds periodically, but overall it was great.American Monster sounded great. At least there's no brown eyed girl or am radio or volvo driving soccer mom, wish they did el distorto, it's a great opener.
Although I'd like to say fuck yahoo/live nation with that streaming bullshit, can't restart it, had to sit thru two other bands just to replay the everclear set, assholes

Don, if you were wearing glasses and a lanyard, I'm pretty certain I saw you on the webcast. I tried to record it but the stream had issue for me. The recording is available on Yahoo: https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/summerland

That was me with the glasses & lanyard. Can't miss my bright red hair when the light hits. It's a curse and a blessing.
The vocals sound much clearer on the mix from the video than in person. If the audio and/or video can get posted, that would be awesome. Fun show overall.

Re: Summerland 2015 live
What I got from this concert is that Art really tried. For the first time in years he went high in Wonderful, and tried to hit those "woah oh oh oh's" near the end. Even during IWBYANL and Santa Monica you heard him going for it, which was awesome. Maybe it's the goatee idk...

Highlight being "American Monster", otherwise some tired songs like FOM.

Thanks for sharing this! I had forgotten about that silly Santa Monica remix. Did they have someone make that just for this tour?
