PDX 5-11-17

Don't have time to do big review but sound and guitar issues for all three bands. Art has guitars that wouldn't work at all. Fastball had mics not working, and vertical horizon lost all sound for over 10mins. Art said hating you for Christmas was only for vip packages. He missed a lot of lyrics especially on back half of the smfag album songs in particular whitemen in black suits. Great show overall they even broke out the 3 piece suits like back in the day.

Setlist:
intro/smfta
E2E
Normal (no intro)
New life
Father
Heroin Girl
Nervous and weird
Man who broke own heart
one hit wonder
El distorto
Amohetamine
Whitmen black suits
Sunflowers
Why I don't believe (art said this was the first time this was played live ???)
California king

Local god
Wonderful
Santa Monica
Spongebob is not a contraceptive -(Simpsons)

Flowers the painted whores of the plant world - Homer Simpson

That's a great set list. I'm going to see them on July 29th at the House of Blues Anaheim!
The last time I saw them was with the original line-up for the Slow Motion Daydream Tour.
It was an awesome show at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

The suits?!?!?! That's too good! Just curious...was this an outdoor show?
I have made it through bruised and scarred and half alive.
