Re: The Median Recording
I don't think I've even heard of it. What's on it?

Re: The Median Recording
From what I've read, there's only one recording from Art's first band, "The Medium".
"THE MEDIUM:
The Medium were the first known band that Art ever joined. He was in the band during his high school years. They were for the most part a cover band. The never actually recorded anything, not even a demo tape, (not a known one anyway), but they did record one of their jam sessions. It's basically just a half-hour session of the band doing instrumental covers of songs by such current artists at the time as The Cars. If you would like to get a copy, please email me."
*edited. I wrote median instead of medium initially

Re: The Medium Recording
I actually just did a board search on "The Medium" and the only person I saw talk about it besides myself is Chris in 2004. I wonder how many hands that alleged file has found itself in.
" I believe his first band was called the Medium, followed not long after by Shakin' Brave. "

Re: The Medium Recording
I can't be the only person who has the Medium recordings. I've never really seen any appeal to it, musically and I never listen to it. I just hold on to it because I'm a pack rat and an Art fan.
It was "released" (and I use that word lightly) as part of the Art "Demography" set by fans, I believe. Colorfinger and The Easy Hoes are infinitely more interesting, I find.

"Tell me, do you feel it, too?
The way I feel when I am blue?
Do you feel it? 'Cause I can feel it still
You cut me into pieces
Said, you cut me into pieces
And now I wished I'd never let you in!"
