Selling my Collection

Post by ddn12 » Thu Dec 22, 2011 12:44 am

Sad day :( But I don't really listen to these anymore and could use the money. So I'm giving you guys first dibs. If anyone is interested please let me know. I'm asking $175 for everything (including shipping in the US), which is a lot less than I paid for all of this, and also a ton less than it would take to collect all this stuff now. There is a total of 42 cds and a vinyl, including some real gems such as the You Make Me Feel Like a Whore Promo, 2cd Heartspark Dollarsign UK digipack, SMFTA and SFAAM Vol 1 Advance cds and several of the Australian singles. I'm sad to see it all go. The list is below - I also have it in an excel spreadsheet if you want. More details are on WL (http://whitelightning.org/resources/discog2.htm). Photos of all the cds are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/everclearsale/ Please PM if you are interested.

Thanks,

Douglas

$100. If no one takes it here, I'm just going to hang on to it.

Sorry about your luck. I wish I could justify spending $100 on it because you have some really cool stuff, but let's be honest, it's all collector's kind of stuff; besides a few items, there's nothing really of use. I mean I wouldn't put on a single when I could listen to a full CD. Almost everything listed would be collectibles, just sitting in a drawer. And in this economy, it's hard to sell those kinds of things, especially with a less than relevant band. Good luck, hopefully someone will take up on your offer because you have some great collectibles, but honestly if you spent so many years acquiring that kind of collection, is it really worth selling just for $100? No offense intended, I don't know what your financial situation is like. It just seems to me that you have a cool collection, so you might as well hang onto it. Just my thoughts.

PM sent regarding the few items I had mentioned interest in earlier.

Glad to hear that, would have loved to get it myself but felt terrible tearing something like that away from a fan - even if times are bad.

I don't think its a bootleg - it has the Capital logos on it, but it does have Hating you for Christmas on the B Side. $6 shipped or $10 for the pair shipped. I have several of each.

ddn, let me make it to payday and I'll gladly buy a copy off of you. I don't need the pair though, I already have the N&W.
