Post by ro » Tue Jun 08, 2004 5:03 pm

first off, dont ask craig, hes busy, it takes too long and just no, im tempted to ask him how he does the invisible intro so fast, but i dont, but i would strongly urge you not to directly ask him.

luckily, i love deciphering songs on my bass:

-------------------------------------------
--------------------------9-11-----------
-------------------9-11------------------
-10-10-10-10-------------------------

-------------------------------------------
-------------------10-8------------------
------------8-10-------------------------
-9-9-9-9--------------------------------

-------------------------------------------
--------------------6-8------------------
--------------6-8------------------------
-7-7-7-7-7----------------------------

-------------------------------------------
---------------------4-2-----------------
---------------2-4-----------------------
-3-3-3-3-3-----------------------------

the rest is just the root of what the guitars playing which can be found on jasons site: http://members.tripod.com/~panec/newyorktimes.htm

thanks so much... i play guitar and just couldnt decipher the basslines. what you gave me is the verse and bridge ("Oh, you gotta read between the lines")?

The rest just follows the guitar?

dont worry, i was jokin about asking Craig, I'm sure he'd kill me!

very much appreciated
