Previews are up on the iTunes store... they range from 30- 90 seconds depending on the song... sounds pretty great!
Loopy says he likes it up on top...

Definitely reminds me of SMD. Santa Ana Wind sounds cool. The whole thing gives me a "pop rock band somewhere between 1999 and 2002" vibe, if that makes any sense. Sounds like something that would've been playing in the weight training room during ninth grade PE class.

Jackie Robinson sounds... interesting.

They're just samples and I didn't listen to all of them the whole way through, but WOW! I can't wait for this album. I haven't been this excited about a new Everclear album since Learning How to Smile and that was the first one that was going to be released after I became a fan (I really got into Everclear during Afterglow). The anticipation was huge back then - this reminds me of that time.

It's going to take a whole lot of will power, but I'm gonna wait.

Just listening to Tiger In a Burning Tree I thought "Wow, they did not lie about it sounding like SMFTA!"

From what I've heard I like it more than WTTDC already. It just needs time for it to grow on me (and for me to actually hear the whole song for all of them).

This album sounds like Learning How to Smile with more distortion, more auto-tune, and less melody.

Is that a good or bad thing?

I'll refrain from posting anything lengthy about this.

But I think several of the songs could be notably improved by pitching it up 5% (as it basically was on SMFTA). It'd be faster with more energy, and Art's voice would sound more like it used to.
