Almost Instant Karma is the first single!

Post by Frasbul » Sun Apr 13, 2014 9:25 pm

art said on the edbd tv live webcast that a song called "the man who broke his own heart" is the first single.
I guess that's "almost instant karma".

interesting... it would be good to finally get a studio version of that song.
Always loved that one.

Wonder when we will get to hear this new single?

Nice find Frasbul! Thanks for sharing, we've had a Art solo version of this in 2005, I'm glad he brought it back, can't imagine a full band rock version, gonna be interesting!

Listening to the live solo version now, damn why did he wait so long? It's a great song.

I have been waiting for this day for so long.

Awesome news! Never understood why we never got a studio version. I was always a fan of that acoustic recording and the full band version live. Perhaps this version will be different as well.

Hey Timmah, I never knew there was a live version with the band, as well.
Do you by chance have a copy of that song version, still?

Sorry, I just meant I saw them perform it live a couple of times. I don't think there is a decent recording of the band playing it. There is that good quality acoustic version.

I hope that this is what's happening, and that it's not one of those situations where the artist likes the line, but uses it in a different song.

That word be pretty horrible and heartbreaking. To me this is the beat news in years other than Summerland.

Is the recording (solo) available? This is one of the only recordings I believe I have yet to hear

"This is where I want to be Now"

No worries. If Almost Instant Karma is this new single, I am sure we will hear a new "full band version" of it soon enough.

I can totally picture this song done with a really aggressive Sparkle & Fade grunge vibe, though.
(that's what I am hoping for anyway... big guitars and a grumpy attitude! lol.)
